In October we went to Tera's house for a girls retreat. Tera took some pictures of us in her cute little town of Kimberly Idaho.
These were some cool steel boxes by the railroad tracks.

our spring trip

Hey everyone its finally summer!!
As most of you know summers are really busy especially in this family!
here are some pictures of san fransico which was a lot of fun!:

here are a bunch of us at the beach in north california on a beautiful 90 degree day!

Here we are at the san fransico zoo which was a totall blast and we had lots of fun seeing all the animals. cohen and ryan loved the monkeys and we all loved the tigers and the bears

And here we are at one of the most amazing places weve ever been to:

ALCATRAZ!!! It was so much fun there, the experience was just amazing. For all you that dont know alcatraz was a famous prison that was known for some of the most notorious prisoners it kept in its cells. It is in san fransico on an island not to far off and it is huge! The cells are about as bit as my closet (which is not big at all) and they have next to no freedom or privacy.

here below are all the cells lined up. here is my mom and poor sad cohen

above is me and my mom and in the middle is all the kids (except cohen) on the boat ride over to alcatraz.

And here is the beautiful veiw from the island!

We took the audio tour and it was pretty scary because you could hear all the men shouting and stabbing eachother (not to mention swearing) and poor hannah was freaking out when we went into the kitchen and the headset told us the story about when the men stole the butcher knives and were stabbing their innmates.

But anyway lets not focus on the greusome parts. As you can see the view was fantastic and we learned a lot about history (and why not to go to jail)
